Heritage Scouts Out At Sea Badge Collection
Product Description
This set of two Heritage Scouts out at Sea badges are inspired by the connection with the very famous ship the RRS Discovery which is now moored in Dundee. The two badge images are from photos in the Gilwell Archives, a rare piece of history.

Product Information
The Discovery was tasked with rescuing Ernest Shackleton's ship Endurance which was being crushed in the ice in the Antarctic in 1916. Later, in 1921, Shackleton took two Scouts James Marr and N E Mooney with him on a further Antarctic expedition.

The Discovery was restored and remains to this day as a museum telling the incredible story of Britain's Antarctic Expeditions.
